Geranium: Geranium has a stabilising effect on hormonal and stress-related conditions. Restores balance and a sense of stability during times of stress and swings of mood and energy. Its calming and uplifting action helps to ease nervous tension and irritability. Geranium essential oil has been used to treat health conditions for centuries. There is scientific data indicating that it may be beneficial for a number of conditions, such as anxiety, depression, infection, and pain management. It shows to have antibacterial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties.
Lavender: Provides instant relief and restores calm within the nervous system. Opens up your airways and lungs to minimise hyperventilating. Lavender essential oil is one of the most popular and versatile essential oils used in aromatherapy. Distilled from the plant Lavandula angustifolia, the oil promotes relaxation and believed to treat anxiety, depression, insomnia, eczema.
Bergamot : It is used for anxiety, mental alertness and reduces feelings of stress. It is also purifying and cleansing for the skin while having a calming effect.
Cautions: Who should not take bergamot? Pregnancy and breast-feeding: Do not use bergamot oil on your skin if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. It is possibly unsafe. Diabetes: Bergamot might lower blood sugar levels. This could affect blood sugar control in people with diabetes and cause blood sugar levels to go to low.
Organic Carrier – Shea Butter : With high concentrations of fatty acids and vitamins “Shea butter” an ideal for softening skin. Shea butter also has anti-inflammatory and healing properties. Using Shea butter on your body, especially your face, can condition, tone, and soothe your skin.
Directions: As this is a potent aroma-therapeutic and concentrated blend, use a finger nail sized portion of balm. Test for reaction by rubbing a small amount on the inside of your elbow and wait a few minutes for any reactions.
Application: You can massage onto your forehead, rub on your top lip under your nose for ease of breathing in, you can rub onto your chest and on your wrist or neck pulse points. Use as a relaxing inhalant, by breathing deeply from the jar for 8 to 10 breaths. Use as a rub on your back where your spinal nerves and tense muscle are.
Cautions: This blend is for teenagers and adults 12years and over. Not recommended for use if you are pregnant or lactating and recommend you do a spot check first to ensure you do not have a reaction to the aromatherapy oils.
Note: Shea Nut carrier butter in the balm will melt if left in direct sunlight.
